Jodie Barrett, CEC, CEO Achieve Coaching Group
Jodie Barrett is the CEO and Founder of the Achieve Coaching Group, a specialized coaching firm whose primary mission is to maximize executive and leadership potential transforming an exceptional future. A certified executive coach from an accredited ICF program she received her (CEC) training from Royal Roads University and holds both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees and Principal Qualifications I & II. Jodie has proven to be highly regarded for her proactive attitude and ability to think ‘outside of the box’. She brings expertise in organizational dynamics, a systems perspective and is a dynamic change agent. She has taught leadership seminars, coached executives, teams and is an expert facilitator. Her passion for coaching high achieving individuals has its roots in her 15 year professional career in education and administration. She brings to her coaching practice experience in public and private sector organizations through teaching, leadership development, management, as well as in the field of outdoor experiential leadership. Jodie is recognized for her success in group facilitation, personal and team development, communication, strategic planning, succession planning and education.
Through the Achieve Coaching Group Jodie engages with individuals, teams, and organizations in the coaching experience to create innovative approaches to today’s problems.
Zuzi Gaal, MA, MBA, CEC
Prior to founding R.T. Lear, Zuzi Gaal held a position with the Bank of Montreal where she was accountable for building higher performance through leadership capability and capacity. She was the force behind the organization’s new criteria for Executive Coaches, their assessment, as well as the selection and engagement evaluation in order to bring bank’s coaching to a higher level. Ms. Gaal also led several important initiatives including leadership development strategies, leadership assessment, and mentoring. Wanting to increase both the company’s ROI and the participants’ learning, she was successful in instituting debriefing as a part of the 360 Degree Feedback process, which the organization currently utilizes.
Before her career in Canada, Ms. Gaal worked in the United States and Europe for over ten years. Through her experiences in consulting (PricewaterhouseCoopers, Towers Perrin, Watson Wyatt, and independently) and industry (pharmaceutical, finance, IT, health care, publishing) she has not only created winning human resources strategies, but has enriched her coaching with a powerful perspective; Ms. Gaal knows the world of business and understands the issues executives face globally.
Ms. Gaal holds a Master’s of Educational Psychology degree from the University of Minnesota, a Master’s of Business Administration degree from the Rotterdam School of Management, and a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from the Royal Roads University.
Bruce H. Swan, B.Comm (hons), DHA, FCCSHE, CEC
Bruce sees Executive Coaching as a powerful partnership between the Executive and coach where learning takes place and where growth personally and professionally occurs by unleashing the Executives human potential, transforming the Executive to reach new heights by creating a positive future where dreams come true. He sees Executives as they are with potential to excel, listening intently, seeking clarity to issues to enlighten, acknowledge areas of success and through insightful questioning create momentum that propels the Executive forward, confronting barriers and creating new openings to excel.
Bruce is a Certified Executive Coach and graduate of Royal Roads University Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching, University of Toronto Graduate Certificate in Hospital Administration and Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours. He is a Fellow of the Canadian College of Health Service Executives. He is a Accreditation Surveyor for the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation. He brings to the team over 30 years experience as a Senior Health Care Executive providing leadership at the President and CEO level as well as the Vice President level to various complex health care organizations in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario. He practiced Certified Executive Coaching in his leadership role as President and CEO of the Royal Ottawa Health Care Group providing coaching to middle and senior management as well as coaching external clients in the middle management and senior executive level of not for profit businesses.
